The Nick Hess Memorial Golf Outing was established to benefit the Nick Hess Scholarship Fund.
The Nick Hess Memorial Scholarship provides a $750 tuition grant for a current junior student returning for their senior year at Archbishop Alter High School (Dayton, Ohio.)
Nick Hess, an Alter graduate from the Class of 2004 passed away in November of 2015. This scholarship will allow his smile, work ethic, leadership skills, character and zest for life to live on at Alter High School. Funding for the scholarship is being provided by the family and friends of Nick to perpetuate a legacy for him in the Alter Community.
This is a one-year tuition grant. It is the goal that that all those benefiting from the tuition grant along with any others interested in promoting the values of leadership and character will help sustain and grow this scholarship program for future generations.
